We seem to score a lot of 1st period goals. Surely we continue that scoring through the other periods and don’t give up leads right?

I know there’s quite a lot to criticize when it comes to coaching, scheme, lines, etc. – but (huffs a whippit) what I do feel “good” about with our hot starts and 3rd period implosions is how young this team is.
We entered the season with the 3rd youngest opening night roster, and have only really gotten younger with Laine out, playing tarasov more, etc.
Part of me feels like us weakening throughout games has to be related to the level of youth compounding our other issues. It gives me a little hope that with the right changes in the offseason this team does have talent and that talent can start producing real results. It truly would be crazy to see the difference in standings if we were just league average in 3P goal differential
