The Jets system isn't about exceptional plays. It's about not making mistakes. The Rangers may have some higher end scoring potential, but their total team mistakes were greater, and that's exactly why the Jets win so many games, consistently.

I just wanted to add the unsung efforts of Brendon Dillon in this game. It was noticeable how offensive-minded he was, especially before the first goal. He singlehandedly was able to overpower the Ranger's defense multiple times and take it to the house. I love how he played the game last night! Although he's known as a defense-first D-Man, I liked the offensive changes he brought last night. We are gonna need more of that as we get deeper into the playoffs. Go DillyBar!!!
Notice how our team immediately starts playing like a legit championship contender once Coach Scott Arniel takes over. I pray Bowness gets better, but he really needs to step down & hand the team over to Coach Arniel. I want Bowness to stay with the team either as a consultant or some sort of executive role, but he shouldn't be coaching our team anymore.
They finally had that PP1 as Scheifele/Monahan/Toffoli/Connor/Morrisey and they looked dynamic! Loved seeing that unit as our number 1 PP unit. If Vilardi gets healthy and is able to return having him on the PP2 unit I think would be best.
