Hell No Fuck The Edmonton Oliers and there bandwagon ass fans there fans are just as bad as Cowboys fans
Go Kings GO screw Edmonton
short answer no
Yah you should be running the oilers not Ken Holland. You’re an idiot
Yes, but so can 6 other teams.
Depends on who gets injured, on this team and on other teams. They are deeper this year and if they had traded Broberg, it would have screwed up everything. The only players worth going after this year were Jake G ,Tanev and Henrique and they got one.
As much as I love the Oilers, I think they’re still missing something
They got the talent, the question is how bad do they want it. Playing games inconstistently wont cut it. But they are capable.
Knobloch for the jack Adams
They won’t win unless there is a full team commit to defence especially from the forwards and stop coughing up the puck, Bouchard and Draistal in particular. Players like Kane have to start playing better. He doesn’t hit, doesn’t fight and hasn’t scored since I don’t know when.
Just goaltending is a thing I think about but they both have played good and with a way stronger defense and unreal offence if they can keep goals against low they have a better team then last run they made so if defense plays great like Paul Coffee has them going your right they will make a stronger run this year Vegas has always been a thorn for oilers but oil have the better team this year Vegas should make playoffs but maybe not they sure slid down doesn't matter playoffs are a total different game who ever is hot and stays hot will win the cup and oilers have themselves in a great spot and can still move up
Let's hope not.
doubtful they can beat Vagas
Can’t be stopped from scoring, hard to score against? Isn’t that the description of the perfect team?
Hard no.
McDavid will keep winning Hart Trophies. Nate MacKinnon will keep wining Cups.
They probably won’t t get past the first round
I looked at my season ticket playoff price… absolutely disgusting how much money they want. double what is was last year, and no, I dont believe that this is our year..
Nailed it with the bad contracts!! Bouchard is not a great defender though. He pairs well with Ekholm who is a beast on the ice
If any GM was capable of making nothing but retrospectively good decisions and had nothing from past GMs to deal with, they'd be unstoppable. The complaining about management is stupid. There are 20 levels of extra complexity and nuances that you don't even know the existence of.
Bahaha!!
The Oilers feel a lot like the 2015-16 penguins when they won the first of their 2 cups. That team also fired their HC in December and went on to win with a star studded roster
They have to at least make finals or I think a lot of people will be upset.
The only thing standing in the Oilers way are teams like Vancouver and Winnipeg and whatever team comes out of the Eastern conference . ONCE the playoff teams are decided , then we will see what any teams real chances are .
They lost to the cup champs last two seasons and they’re considerably better this year than previous ones. Holland has built a cup contender and this definitely should be the year.
Are they Campbell Bowl contenders?
