I like the new one better honestly
Anniversary Skate for me. Logo’s cleaner on the Current Alt, but I prefer the 50th’s collegiate numbering and piping on the collar.
The OG skate is a classic, but there’s no denying that the new skate has grown on me this season.
I like the new all black logo on the old piping. New symmetrical bands don’t do it for me
After familiarizing myself with the new one, looking back at the old one the width of the yellow stripes is jarring.
The new logo is cleaner as well without the white.
But I prefer the font of the old one. Do not like the rounded corners of the numbers and names on the new one. Much prefer the old font with diagonal angles in the font.
As well the old one had three layered stitching for the numbers with Yellow on top of Red on top of White which just screams quality.
Really wish they could use the new jersey and logo with the old nameplate and numbers font with the 3 layer stitching.
They botched the 50th anniversary, otherwise that one, the lower half of the circle doesn’t seem proportionate, the White background needs to extend to the end the the S on Canucks, it’s the only reason I didn’t buy that jersey, but that is the one if they got it right, Also, bring back the white skate please

I like the new one overall but like the white around the numbers in the old one.
The current jersey is super sick Cleaner design, better colors, better use of spacing. I bought that EP40 one, made me glad he is signed now lol
if the new one had the same stripes and collar as the OG I would have been more onboard. I think this picture in particular is an unfair comparison because the 50th jersey picture is definitely over exposed making the white seem worse than it actually is.

Will probably always prefer the left, especially the striping, but the new version is fine. That said, the blue jersey font on these jerseys aint it for me. I think if we switch to these permanently just go with the ‘94 font (font as in name plate/numbers)

Left. Nicer striping, collar, and kit (three colours and rounder numbers vs thin numbers from the Orca jersey).
For some reason, they cropped some of the white part of the blade on the 50th, which is why [THIS](https://globalnews.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/10731296.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&w=1200) is the best Skate jersey of all time (the Reebok collar is also nicer).
I think I’m the only person in the planet who gives a shit, but I HATE that the new one (and lots of the newer Adidas jerseys) has a plain collar. Yeah, the inside is cute and all, but it doesn’t show when you wear it. It looks like a T shirt to me.
The new logo and stripes are cleaner but I’ve never been a fan of the comic sans font the canucks started using around 2009 for player names/numbers

Updated logo on the old jersey would be perfection. I don’t like the double wide stripes on the newer version.
Old skate vastly superior.
I have both of the skate jerseys, and I like both of them, but I will say I prefer the new one. The logo pops out more, and I love the details on the new one. I love the V on the sides of the jersey, and I love the image of the North Shore mountains in the collar of the jersey.
At first I hated it, but when you see them both the new one is leaps better – best jersey in the league babyy
Why not just ask me which one of my kids I love more?
I’ll be an original skate purist forever but the new one works perfectly fine.
The logo looks better without the white but I prefer the older striping
