Jan 12 was his last regulation loss that he started (gave up only 1 goal)
Is it time for us to have the « bust » discussion? /s
I really want to dump the Lyon husso reimer trio and splash on a high end goalie this summer. If we got Gibson for example, he’s a tried and true goalie that can play 55 games and give you right around .900, and hopefully on a better team than bottom feeder Anaheim I’d be better. Then you can have cossa play 20-25 games, season after that he plays 35. Lose Gibson and run cossa Augustine if cossa proves he can be a go to starter and play 50 solid games.
In an ideal world, anyway. Reality is we’ll probably run lyon husso and cossa will play 8 games or something
He had a really mediocre prospect camp too, this really came out of no where
. Usually these are the best players who can do this. I would much rather have this than a slow burn
Cossa has a better goals against average and save percentage this season in the AHL than Jesper Wallstedt does, but with 7 less games played.
Where’s that guy who said cossa sucks on another post last week
Bust smh
Cossa has better overall stats than Wallsteadt this year in the AHL.
I’m not saying Cossa will be better, but the pick is seeming less wild than it has the past couple of years.
He is also a extremely nice down to earth dude if that helps any to 🙂 Man were going to have a nutty tandem in 3 years.
This kid growing into a good NHL goalie would be such a game changer
I always like when the samples are picked to make the guys look as good as possible. Last 14, last 17, it’s funny. Body of work has him 15th in the AHL in Sv%. 5th AHL “rookie” goalie I believe. He’s better than he was but still has a long way to go.
Hopefully he gets a few starts in the NHL next season to start easing him in but the NHL is much harder for a goalie than it is for a skater as there is very little truly high-end scoring talent in the AHL.
