Depth scoring is picking up again which is huge. Lindholm and Podz are gonna get one soon

I guess that’s what happens when Mike Matheson is your number one dman

Ahhhh I remember when we’d always get slaughtered by Montreal.

Nice to have some payback and lift whatever voodoo we had whenever we faced the French team.

How many Canadiens does it take to change a lightbulb bulb?

Four. One to change the light bulb, three to hold back Connor Garland.

demko who?? jokes aside, it’s great seeing desmith’s confidence come back and seeing him play extremely solid!!

    Re-sign Zaddy!

He’ll get a hatty in the upcoming Flames game

    6-1-1 in March.

    Wins wins and more wins.

So much for that lame ass *cOnCeRnInG tReNds* narrative .

We had 40 hits in this game? Nice. Gotta say I love our improvement this season with the physicality and forecheck. Having Zadorov definitely helps. Can’t wait to get Joshua back in the lineup to make it more formidable.

Also love watching Garland and Hog together.

Loved how hard they pushed right until the clock ran out, looked more like a team desperately trying to tie it up than one up by 3

Props to Casey for being so solid. I know a lot of us were worried when we lost Demko but he’s been great.

Loved the celebration interaction between Blueger and Garland on the assist/goal. Can’t wait til Joshua is back and those 3 are on a line together again, their chemistry is top notch.

i love how the team didn’t play down to them, and despite the lead going in to the third, they kept their foot on the gas.

Can’t wait for Demko to get back but DeSmith has played great for us. We could’ve easily gotten the S-word today if we didn’t have a late second period defensive collapse.

I hope this team is starting to play better defense with DeSmith in net. It’ll save Demko from having to make crazy saves when he gets back.

Also was this Podz’ first point?

  14. wintercom

We’ve gotten at least a point in 16/21 games De Smith Started. That’s a pretty decent backup goaltender.

podz and juulsen both had 6 hits tonight!

Dope game. Wish Zaddy got the hatty though

Watching that Vegas/Seattle game praying for a Kraken win.

been awhile since we won without Miller Hughes Petey or Boeser putting up a point.

Garland’s neckguard and turtleneck combo is the fashion statement of 2024

Not gonna lie, I do love this “don’t let the other team tee off on the goalie,” strategy they’ve been employing lately.

Horn guy’s ruse to get the Habs all relaxed by making them think they were at home worked just as planned.

  22. overscaled

In a convincing game, all big guns except Quinn are -1, with a guy getting fired.

  23. helixflush

Their only goal was kinda lucky, but good game from the boys. Finally they show they can close out games again, let’s hope they continue this.
