  1. Sir, with all due respect – the Bruins are in better shape to make a deeper run on this season than last.

First off, as far as leadership is concerned – Brad Marchand led the team last playoffs, while Bergeron was out – he won three out of the first four games. Then Patrice came back and…
do I need to finish that sentence?

Second, the Bruins have gotten further than they should all season long. That's what those OTL stand for, not games that were blown, games we probably shouldn't have won to begin with.

They didn't start off hot and then fizzle, they didn't hit any slumps they couldn't get points out of, they didn't get hot and cold… They have consistently grinded it out all season long, getting further than they should. There's absolutely no reason that can't continue.

Third, Linus ullmark was going nowhere hyphen he has stated numerous times in the interviews of him you've seen, that he intends on raising his family in the northeast. Bruins knew that darn well – a legitimate potential offer came along and they were obligated to present it – and it made for good PR.

But you might notice, teams haven't been reaching out with huge offers for Jeremy swayman, because the rest of the league knows who the 1A is.

Finally, we have seen this phenomenon before where top teams bow out first round, then the following year they come back to get the cup. Gosh I've been around since Bobby Orr and I'm thinking hawks, definitely tampa.. You can probably name a few teams who tanked first riund, and then came back the following year to get the cup

Since you already know your Bruins history, I'll explain it to some of your viewers –
Brad Marchand was just about panicking last year this time afraid to set any more records, he kept saying regular season doesn't count because he knew of Bruins history.

1970 playoffs Bobby Orr famous flying OT goal

Coach Harry sinden was bumped up to gm, new coach Tom Johnson came in following season 1970-71 and set the franchise record for most winning regular season – the record we broke last year, on our way to setting the NHL record

1971 playoffs, we went down first round, to none other than the Habs

1971-1972, big bad Bruins came back to win themselves a cup.

Have you seen the size of this team?

When these guys score, Captain Brad Marchand goes over to give them a hug and celly- he looks like their son!

His small size is really popping out this season – take a closer look

    We are BIG!
    BAD
