I like how there was so much discourse leading up to the MO suspension and like zero on this lol.
Obviously different situations but most big suspension cause lots of discussion on peoples opinions of how long they think it should be and this one felt like there was next to none.

I think the DoPS will say that Tom Wilson’s ridiculous high stick was a heat of the moment play, where Morgan Rielly cross check was several seconds after the play. The former can be argued that it was an impulsive reaction. The latter, that it’s premeditated. With that being said, Morgan Rielly got dun dirty, and Tom Wilson, given his history, could’ve been a longer suspension and I wouldn’t have flinched.

Glad he got suspended but man I thought it would be more, he has a terrible track record and that high stick was as obvious as it gets. Should be 20+ or something for Wilson. Not even saying that because it was against a leaf, he’s just a dirty fucker who needs to go.
