The officiating was bad. During one timeout he was stalking the Leafs like a lionâwas at the game and was watching (not sure if they had on TV). Given the mugging on the Caps players you knew there would be something but you wonder if Carbs (or someone) should have seen that and tried to get him to be smart given his history.

It makes sense. He’s been clean for a while, but he’s still got a history and a boneheaded move is a boneheaded move regardless of intent or motive. Plus they’re probably gonna ~~pretend to~~ care about player safety like they always do when something like the Chris Simon story is still fresh.
