@Canadiens de Montréal

Que pensez-vous de Jakub Dobeš jusqu’à présent lors de sa première saison professionnelle avec Laval ? Avec l’arrivée de Fowler, pensez-vous que des mesures seront prises pour faire de la place à l’un d’eux avec Montréal ?

    Who’s the most promising between him and Fowler again?

    Primeau was drafted in 2017 and just earned his spot in mtl in 2024 as a backup

    Dobes and Fowler have years before being in MTL

    Goalies take a LONG time to develop. Won’t see any in a habs jersey for a few more years at the least

    Fowler is staying in NCAA for at least one more season and likely more. Dobes is unlikely to play any games for Montreal next season unless there is an injury.

    No because our situation in goal is actually looking really good now. Monty is a solid starter for now and not even 30, Primeau is younger and just cracked the roster finally, and then we have several promising younger guys who will take 3-5 years to cook. By the time they move up it’ll be the natural end of Monty’s tenure anyway so it’s kind of perfect.

    Dobes, Volokhin, and Fowler all look good and all play a bit differently. Pretty cool to see. Goalies are a bit weird but I think one of those should make it as a legit #1.

    Go with Dobes Fowler next year in the A and see where we’re at for the year after. By then we’ll have a good idea of what our position in goal looks like between the 5 goalies playing pro.

    After the whole Mc Niven debacle and the Lions going bankrupt, it’s not gonna be easy. The best for him would be a situation like Lindgren in WSH although it’s not something that could last or would last poorly. Goalie doesn’t get trade easy and Hughes trade hardly.

    Considering how poorly the season started for Dobes and the Rocket, it’s actually pretty remarkable how solid his stat line is now.

    I really like him long-term and the strides he has made this season are impressive.

    He’s a big athletic goalie that is very aggressive. At times, too aggressive, but that kind of tweaking to his game can be taught and corrected.

    Dobes plays well since Christmas but he’s not ready for the big league. I think both Dobes and Fowler will be Rockets for a couple of years since one of them take Primeau of Sammy out of MTL.

    I think he has a lot of potential. I also didn’t know he was such a giant!

    Too early for that discussion because it’s pretty fluid in Laval for roster guys – like look at Kasimir Kaskisuo coming in from Sweden, they put him on the team just like that.

    I think at this point the Fowler hype is something we need to capitalize on. Since Anaheim is loaded with D prospects we should try to package Fowler or Dobbes, a 1st, and a salary retained Josh Anderson. I think something around Top End Goalie prospect + a 1st may work.
