He’s an incredible coach and his track record proves it. You hear he can wear down a locker room over a few years, but you can’t argue he can get results
I think he should win the Adams. He’s done amazing with what many would consider pretty mediocre talent.

When he was coaching the Rangers, my nickname for him was Captain Queeg – given his insistence on shot-blocking. Which cost him the services of Ryan Callahan in the postseason in 2010-11, and saw the Rangers bounced in five games.

Generally speaking, I think it is ridiculous to risk significant injury and loss of time to block one shot in one game, in a 82-game season – a shot that might not even be on net.
Sorta unrelated to your point, but a team with 15 overtime losses and 3 more games played than the teams directly behind them in points is not the top team in the NHL

Man Philly is such a weird franchise, every-time they seem to be getting somewhere the wheels fall off and every-time you think they’re going in the tank they manage to have a good season and get a WC spot.
