By comparison of the past few games, they were more competitive tonight. We’re still missing a lot of starters, elite for the team.
I hope they continue to trend upward towards the playoffs and shake off the funk.
Can we just be happy it wasn’t a shut out? They played really good under the circumstances. I for one- am impressed.
My god espn can’t stop glazing over the rangers. They beat a team missing half a dozen starters and needed luck to even get it to OT.
But of a stretch to say this result shows the rangers are the favorite to win a cup.
*sigh* Barkov and Ekblad cannot come back soon enough. At least we put up a decent fight and earned a point.
Tbh don’t really give a shit about this stretch because we aren’t healthy. We know how good they can be, just need to get our guys back.
Starting to feel like the team needs an offseason to get healthy and not a couple weeks.
It was a fun game to watch, but Bread’s game tying goal was all luck. We were so close.
Disappointing. Thought we had our best game in weeks. Team is definitely in a funk, 4 L’s in a row doesn’t feel good. We desperately need to heal up and go into playoffs at full strength. Let’s try again tomorrow night in philly

Tough loss but hell of game
I’m REALLY hoping what I am seeing from Tarasenko these last 4 games is him trying to still jell. Because besides his 2nd game with us this has been brutal.
Stealing a point tonight was impressive missing half their defense, top center, etc. and knowing the guys who did play probably are ill from whatever is going around. It’s better to get this ebb and flow now than in two months, although if it was necessary like last year I’m sure they’d play.
Not too upset with this loss, when it’s a shootout anything can happen. I think the rangers outplayed us but we held our own without Barkov, forsling, Ekblad, Kulikov, lomberg. 3 new defense pairings tonight and they played well.
Yeah we gave up the lead late but we only scored because Wennberg broke his stick. So we got lucky and then they got lucky, that’s hockey.
Pomo was talking about how they need to get back on their game, I think this was a good Florida Panthers game with how we should be playing. The overtime was electric. Bob huge save and then Trocheck prevented a goal after Reino probably got away with an elbow to the head (though both players were falling down so it was definitely unintentional).
All in all we’ll be fine 🙂👍

That game tying goal the Rags got was some insane puck luck. Bounced off* like 3 skates.
I’d say the boys did pretty damn good tonight given the lineup. Much better effort. Hopefully our guys stop spreading this plague they’ve all got between themselves and get healthy soon.
Duck the rangers
They played really well tonight. This is more like the Panthers were used to watching. I say they go .500-.550 the rest of the way with the schedule and quality of competition. I still like us in a 7 games series over anybody in the East. That first spot and a series vs the Wings or Flyers instead of the Leafs would be huge. It’s hard to play this grinding style for 4 rounds.

We played our game tonight , should have beat the rangers at home aside from a lucky goal at the end. Then lost the 50/50 shootout. Just happy we’re playing our game again and look good. Panthers looking like themselves again which is huge considering ekbald, Barkov , Kuli , lomberg , Gadjovoc and whoever else I’m forgetting is out
