One small remark that made me mad for no reason. You said miller and trouba as the defensive minded hard working de on the rangers, but I think Lindgren is more defensive and harder working than miller
It ain't always about the superstars. It's about the team as a whole. These Preds kinda feel similar to the Canes, in that they have a couple of true top-tier players, and then a well-rounded roster to support them. So even if they don't look like the strongest team on paper, they have what it takes to win games, and a lot of them.

As a preds fan it took about 20/30 games to understand the new coaches system and another 20/30 to have it start clicking. This new offensive game style has been fun to watch and should make us a tough team to beat in a best of 7
Your examples of an offensive defenseman and a defensive defenseman is missing one pairing. Bouchard and Ekholm. But other than that the preds scare the hell out of me. This team is not someone you want to piss off.

That was a complete and utter collapse on D for the wings for that 45 second period of time. Ridiculous play by all involved. Up until that point I thought they were playing one of their best defensive games all year. Not a fight fan but I was watching the woman top right of the screen when Seider and that Preds dude started going at it. She is friggin hilarious!

The Preds have always been at their best when they're the underdogs. Could be dangerous in the playoffs, but I don't want to get my hopes too high. There are a lot of really good teams in the league right now.
