Arizona lucky Bruins didn't score 5 that first period, I'll grant them that they probably should have had 1 themselves but 2-0 was a victory for them way that first period went, on side note, Bruins really have to stop giving up goals with no time left in a period ffs, thank God wasn't in 3rd this game, but still awful
As good as Bruins have been in general, they are absolutely putrid when it comes to the last minute of 3rd period, and sometimes 2nd period as well, that really, really needs to be addressed, and fixed now guys
They get hemmed into their own end far too often and for far too long. Sure, Arizona has some good players, but the Bs made them look like Tampa on steroids at times.
Coyle is making a difference in all areas. Everyone seems to be upping their game lately. More of a balanced team effort. Gotta love Swayman's positive attitude in net…
Solid first period from the B's, the rest of the game was pretty average though, lucky to come away with the win in regulation. Yotes have topped Av's and Leafs in the last weeks though on their streak and had 22 goals in their last 3 games so at least we were able to shut that down. Far too many turnovers in the neutral zone and coming out of defence, puck handling and passing was pretty poor overall and I counted at least 4 shots or passes that went through the top of the slot after establishing in the offensive zone that didn't have a player standing on net to receive them. Gotta tidy it up a little for the playoffs
Coyle line is playing outstanding. This depth continues the Bruins have a chance at a good run in the playoffs. Also love how excited that line gets for one another when they score. You can see they are having fun and playing some great hockey.
