There’s a difference between a team rivalry and intentionally injuring other players, especially with head trauma.
Chris Simmons, ex Caps enforcer, just killed himself from CTE and a lifetime of head injuries. The league can’t mourn his death and praise Rempe, Wilson, etc. in the same breath.
Shout-out to Rangers fans who have the integrity to denounce this behavior. Player safety is a league issue and should trancend team allegiance. (and yes, I’ll stand by that if a Devil ever pulls this shit).

I’d say this is an indictment of Rags fans, and less on the kid that admitted his wrongdoing.
With that said, it didn’t take away what he did and why he was correctly suspended.

If Rempe truly felt bad about his « borderline » plays and he actually wants to clean it up(doubtful), he would have declined to sign this and told the dude it isn’t funny

This is so crazy to me. IMO things like this should warrant at bare minimum a benching from the coach if not official discipline from the league. It’s just so beyond unsportsmanlike to autograph a picture of a fellow player that is injured and bleeding.
