I’m not at all surprised to see this. I think the logical step from here is to start scratching some of the unmotivated veterans on this roster and giving other players a chance to show they can make a difference.
I’d like to see a rotation of players from Coachella over the coming days to give a bunch of them a chance to show their game and audition for a spot next season.
I do not think they should burn any ELC years or anything so this is not me advocating someone like Shane Wright plays the rest of the season up here. But I think he should get a few more games to show his growth since last season.
What does that do to the firebirds? Genuine question. They’re a playoff team and Kraken aren’t.
This is what I like to see. Playoffs aren’t happening, team is playing poorly, try new things. Move pieces around. If it works great, if it doesn’t then you made an effort.
