Absolutely loved that Timo didn’t waste a second to stick up for Nico. We need more of that! And I really like Kaapo’s game. He’s a good goalie but he was playing for the Sharks so he didn’t shine too much.

I really enjoyed seeing Meier drop the gloves after Nico was hit…That sends a massive message to the rest of the guys. Definitely a great win, but as you point out, this team is consistently inconsistent. I think they're bipolar this season. Its a shame we could not get a goalie earlier. Hope next season is better.
Cannot care less if Timo lost balance, cannot care less if any Devil loses balance or even a fight but I want any Devil doing what Timo did when your Captain or a teammate got bullied. Win or lose you must fight. For the first time this season Meier gets an A from me. Deservedly so. Who knows, maybe i'll apologize to him even before the season is done. Hopefully every Devils players will learn and understand what the playoffs team must be like.
Timo’s revival this past stretch is nothing but astounding. So glad and happy for him. This is the player we all thought we were getting! Crazy what a coaching change can do for a player.

Looked like NJ came out slow initially, but got it together after getting the PPs. Meier is continuing to quell the anxieties of those who doubt his value. Very happy he's locked up, we could use a few more players that play the game like him tbh. So happy we Kähk-blocked NYI to FINALLY pick up a shutty, too.

Would've been completely happy this evening just seeing Timo stick up for the Captain. Also gotta say that I thought Kahkonen would have been the obvious choice for goal last night against Ottawa, preferring to have Allen against the Isles, but super happy that Kahkonen had such an amazing night!

Hello! Great show. This was my first time viewing.
I agree about the goaltending issues. I thought that caught up with the Devs against the Canes in the playoffs. It was obvious at the start of the season, too; so, that is on Fitz. But everything else – I respectfully disagree. I as coach, do not want my boss running my team. That being said – unless Lindy was not working with the weak links: Defenseman and Goaltenders, I do not know if there was much to blame him for either.
It seems as if there is an overall character issue among the players. I know you are not advocating this, but even there – all of the yelling at them (which I do not think Lindy did) will not change much; for the exception of losing the locker room.
Yeah, much more elusive than Fitz moving in – imo.

Great win tonight, just got back from UBS and loved being there. As much as I disagree with your thoughts often I love that you did indeed defend Timo as well as I have. Your point on the inconsistency is spot on and man o man had fitzy brought in a goalie earlier would things be different rn. Keep up the good work always enjoy watching. Don’t hate on Fitz so much though, let’s see what happens this summer. Core here is fantastic, breathe deep and enjoy the ride. Absolutely agree about tanking, never should happen

Well said that this season any given night they can beat any team and any given night they can lose to any team! Timo is the man, I have "Fuel" on standby ready to hit play when he scores. I forgot about Smith's bout with lee earlier this season lol. That was awesome. Respect for that, and I respect where his heart is at, by my god I can't get behind a man that I could go on and on about things that happen almost all the time with him lol. He's first on my list to ship out next to siegs. I feel like hes a huge detriment when hes on the ice. I would love to replace him with someone with similar heart and grit but is better at hockey.
