The bruins won a Stanley cup in 2011, had cup appearances in 2013 and 2019, and intermittently won playoff series in between those years. Pretty solid resume if you ask me. I’m guessing the bruins made you REALLY butthurt at some point and are still living rent free in your head? That’s cool lol

They also have the least amount of regulation losses this season, for what it is worth.

  3. Ok_Guide_2845

Kind of smart if you ask me. I’d rather play the Leafs in the first round get a guaranteed series win than play a real team like Tampa.

r/nhl and r/nba are not friendly places for the a Boston fan haha. They love us over on r/nfl and r/mlb now that we doody

  5. tdfrantz

Haha stupid Bruins not maintaining a 20 point lead on the Presidents Trophy and merely battling all year long to be the #1 team in the league. What a bunch of chokers.

  6. realistthoughts

Hope they don’t choke again. /s

  7. coronetgemini

They probably decided they won too much last year and don’t want to do it again

  8. Monty is playing 4d. We’re going to pour it on in the playoffs… Right?

  9. Drnedsnickers2

1 point out of first….”what a bunch of chokers”.

  10. Hefty_Meringue8694

Lol 7-day old account talking shit. Good ol bitch

  11. Like17Badgers

    see now you say losing

***I*** say they felt the President’s Curse last year and are doing their darndest to avoid a repeat of last year

  12. Humans_Suck-

The Jets are choking worse right now

I don’t understand these meme and the chirps on the Bruins in general. Like, they’re 3rd in the league. They have at least a cup in the cap era. A consistent team that plays well, even after losing big players.

No one would have predicted after the changes in roster that they would have been 3rd this year. Which is a testament to their systems.

I dunno man… I just don’t see it. Yeah, they lost to Florida but Florida’s seeding in the playoffs was not representative of that team’s ability. They were always good, last season was just rough for them.

I know no one gives a shit about the regular season and the President’s Trophy… personally I was super impressed with their season. To consistently show up and play every night and win.

Coming a from a team that every time we lose on a back to back or mid week game all our talking heads go “It was a sleepy Sunday game, I’m not worried.”.

Yeah… I don’t like the Bruins. But I respect them and recognize, they’re a good team. I’m not describing them as “chokers” quite yet.

Everyone is allowed to have bad runs. The question what do you do AFTER a bad run? That’s the interesting question about the Bruins.

It only took 17 seconds to choke in 2013. Thanks Bruins #StanleyCup

As a Bruins fan, I’m not exactly eager to jump into any “best in the league” arguments. Let’s be real here. All our OT losses simply expose we can not finish. We will be an early out. Any B’s fan arguing against this is delusional. We are in the mix of “good teams” but I wouldn’t consider this year a real push for a cup. I don’t see it happening.

  16. Upnatom617

It’s so funny! What would these knuckle draggers do if the bruins didn’t exist? Keep hating. Loser points are available to all. Lose in regulation. See if anyone cares.

  17. Brando6677

Not a burner account 💀 stay salty bro

  18. Yet-Another_Burner

Imagine a team losing multiple all stars in one off season, still managing to be at the top of the league all season, and then having some Reddit basement dwellers try to make fun of them. Incredible.

If you think the Bruins are choking, I would be curious about your thoughts on the Red Wings
