Lettsss goooooooo, would be sweet to put him in the big club for a game or 2, Cale makar started late in 2019 and played in the playoffs with Colorado

Calling it now, he’ll start the year in Abbotsford and immediately light things up.

He’ll get called up after Christmas to fill in for an injury, immediately find chemistry as a sniper for Petey, and then never be sent back down. The Young Swede line (Lekki Petey Hoggy) will then terrorize the league for the next decade

Canucks [confirm](https://www.nhl.com/canucks/news/jonathan-lekkerimaki-joins-abbotsford-canucks) Lekkerimäki will train in Abby for the next few weeks waiting for the call to return to Sweden for the World Championship. They also confirm he will be at training camp next season.

No mention of making his NHL debut this season, they want him to work in Abbotsford for now and get to know the organization before he moves here full time this summer.

Abby is on the road rest of the month, but they play at home starting April 2nd, here’s the [link](https://abbotsford.canucks.com/schedule) to the schedule and tickets. Reminder that D-Petey is also with Abby now!

Man, it’s going to be great when he gets 10 points in the Cup final this year.

Hope he plays his whole career here

With Raty starting to light it up, a top line of Bains-Raty-Lekkerimaki gives them a high chance of winning the AHL cup

Isn’t it nice that this isn’t the most positive Canucks storyline at this time of year? We’re not looking to the draft, or wondering what lineups will look like next season. *Sigh* take a minute to appreciate that.

  10. It’ll be interesting next year. Petey still needs wingers and the team needs guys on elcs, it’d awesome if he could make the team out of camp.

    Let him brew awhile please.

Going to Abbotsford to watch this kid play, hearing incredible things about him, someone mentioned he’s like a hybrid of Pettersson & Bure, I gotta see this!

Is he allowed to be on the roster during playoffs in case of injury?

  14. Thank god we didn’t trade him at the deadline! The kid’s gonna light it up.

I’m quite excited for Lekkerimäki. Hopefully he can get into a few AHL games if the opportunity presents itself.

This is a top notch example of proper asset management too. I hope the Sedins play a large role in his onboarding.

    Lekkerimäki-Pettersson-Hoglander

This line is going to be magnificent

Does this mean he’s not on the world championship roster? Or is that decided later regardless of his ‘current’ team?

I saw him on the ice today with Elias in Abbotsford.
