Drew Bannister needs to go. Going 11/7 was about the dumbest thing he could have done in the biggest game of his career. And that decision cost us the season. Also should have pulled the goalie in OT and gone for the win. this is absolutely a scenario where you put the loser point at risk. We got the loser point and season is over regardless. He’s in way over his head.
He just lost his opportunity to remove the interim tag. Enjoy the AHL again next season.
Binnington played great all game until the OT. Doing what the always does. Back far in the net on his knees leaving the entire top half of the net WIDE OPEN an EASY goal for Marchessault. How many times is Binny going to give a goal like that? Come on man, you'd think you would know by now. Binny gave the game to Vegas.
