Bilan lors du retour à la maison des Kings contre les Canucks du match du 25 mars

Eh bien, ce sont les Kings qui ont dicté ce match. Ce ne sera pas une sortie facile en séries éliminatoires.

  1. THG, once again your anti LA King bias appears. You often talk about how you admire defense and hard working players who do the tough work along the boards that all winning teams need. Yet tonight you write-off the LA Kings as a BORING team?? You are very inconsistent on this subject. I suppose you will be satisfied if Canuck's lose a high scoring (lots of pretty goals) series in the first round? I'll take the 3 -2 win over the freestyle skating session every time, as evidenced tonight, 2012, and 2014.

  2. I like to think of the Caps defense as a 5 X 5 penalty kill.
Edit: But with man on man mixed in.

  3. Always Always Always leave early to go to the game. We live in Vegas right now and I have to be there 2 hours before the game even though it’s a 20 minute drive if traffic isn’t that bad. (Not a VGK fan, LAK fan). Hope you make it on time Sunday.

  4. Is that Abbotsford game against the manitoba moose? I know they play them twice on the road to wrap up their season

  5. Downtown residents tip for parking during a Canucks game, there is paid, patrolled parking on the corner of Cordova and Columbia. Park the vehicle, walk 2 blocks through Gastown back to Abbott, and hang a left towards Rogers. Plus, you'll parallel Hastings out to the highway for the trip home.

  6. What time did you leave Abbostford ? Have you thought of maybe parking at Scott Road skytrain and Skytrain it in ? Keep up the good work

  7. There were some stretches when this game was pretty fast and fun. I think the Canucks were able to break open the usual Kings snoozefest a few times but, yeah, LA is a rough team to enjoy watching lmao. One of the dudes on Sportsnet after the game said it reminded him of 2000s New Jersey and, oh yeah, that totally fits. I get that the shutdown is smart play and wins games but holy fck is it boring to watch if you're not a fanboy of the team

  8. Playoff type atmosphere game. Canucks seemed to understand as much as you could see they were putting forth the physical effort tonight. However, the Kings are used to playing this way having played this way most of the season. Any Canucks fan calling it a boring game should know once the playoffs roll around, you can expect to see this type of hockey. If you think the Canucks are going to be successful trying to play run 'n gun hockey in the postseason, just ask the Oilers how that worked out for them last season against the Knights.

  9. Shannon: Yvonne is my lovely wifey
Yvonne: Not if I drive the car off the edge!
    😂

  10. I hope the Canucks/Jets somehow play each other in the playoffs! That would make epic vids with Shannon/Yvonne!

  11. Unironically summing up the game with the greatest quote of all time from Matt Murray:

weird bounces, just a lot of really weird bounces, that first one he gets pretty lucky, just a lot of tough bounces. pretty much all the goals he got were kind of hilarious when you think about it. i mean you gotta look at some of those goals and just laugh.

  12. 6pm starts are ridiculous. I know a few people that got there late. Both teams are pacific, theres no excuse to have 6pm starts.

  13. Sorry that your Canucks lost at the hands of the Kings (the team that I root for), but tis better that some other team gets that President’s Trophy 🏆 than yours for the real prize: Le Coup Stanley.

  14. Sry THG:/ hey just see it as us helping you guys, because do you really want the presidents trophy curse?

  15. The Kings are like the Lightning of the west. Not as good as they were once upon a time but once they sense a disturbance in your force they pounce, pounce, pounce.

  16. Sorry you guys made the long trek from Abby to DT Van for that kind of a game, but hey that's sports for ya. Love the in car review tho!

  17. I felt bad for you, whilst watching the match online, from here, on Manitoulin Island. The HNIC commentators and analysts mentioned "Heavy team, heavy hockey, heavy game", multiple times. Sure don't want to face LA in the first round.

  18. The King's must've got a heads up, that there would be some "heavy hitting" VIP's in the crowd tonight, and they played accordingly!

  19. Ya I remember the old neutral zone trap when The Wild was a young franchise with Jacque Lemaire as head coach. Man those were some "hard to watch" games.
