I dont think anybody is saying fire Steve Yzerman… Thats ridiculous… we went from a dead last team to a wildcard spot. Not at all.
I didn't listen to this video yet. But please don't tell me you are trying to say Red Wings fans want him fired because you seen 1 or 2 people say it…?
nobody here in Detroit is saying they want Steve fired. absurd.
Wtf bait
Uh huh.
I actively avoid octopus thrower articles. I find they are just so knee jerky and amateur. I hope no one on that site ever gets to come close to any decision making.
There were some people here in Detroit who briefly wanted Lalonde gone during the skid. But no one ever said anything about Stevie. All this supposed hate is just something non Wings fans are stirring up in a feeble attempt to hurt the team.
Who tf said yzerman should be fired? your from Vancouver so talk about your trash teams managment 👏
If they are saying that they don't know what they are talking about. Tampa wasn't an overnight success either but I don't think anyone would argue that wasn't worth the wait.
No one saying to fire him. What I have a problem with is him being obsolved of all criticism because he's Steve Yzerman. Brad Holmes the Lions Gm was a year and a half into his tenure as GM and the lions fans were almost unanimously calling for his job. Yzerman is 5 years into this. 5!!!! and they are teetering on missing the playoffs again. Now most of this is on Lalonde, but Yzerman deserves some blame without a doubt.
fYzerman
Has to be bait… Yzerman has done a great job considering the mess Holland left him. LGRW
You aren't seeing Yzerman haters because they are few and far between. Most are just trolls who eat their own boogers. Wings are getting better every year. If they don't make the playoffs this year, while disappointing, they are almost a shoe in for next year. Now if they don't make it next year, then you definitely will see fans asking for decapitations, myself included.
It is called a strawman argument. You make something up and then argue against it. No one is seriously calling for Yzerman to be fired…however, Lalonde is a garbage coach and if Yzerman sticks too long with him, it may cost him in a couple of years when he finally gets around to bringing in a top-notch coach. Lalonde may be a decent assistant coach but he is obviously in over his head.
Fire him? Deport him back to Canada
I dont think Stevie should be fired but i dont think he gets a pass from critsism either, how hes handled Ed and Burger and bringing in Petry and Holl would be a lot of are issues
As the wings get better, more casuals are tuning in and some are just loud and stupid and uninformed about how long it takes draft picks to get to the point where they play winning hockey.
detroit media is very critical on the red wings. yzerman should be allowed time to adjust this offseason. i think they need to add some vets to the roster to help the youngsters.
fire yzerman would be totally crazy if the team have an low period which avery time has and moore likely coach fire but in my mind aint time for that eather. and if we fire i yzer,am the team most likely falling back in the progress to regess.
Trade Yzerman to the Leafs for Shanaplan
I prefer a story of is Debrincat trying to get Yzerman fired?
After 5 seasons you can’t keep calling it a rebuild, they’ve been consistently bad and barely making the playoffs after 5 seasons isn’t much progress
With all due respect to Kotila and Octopusthrower, what do they know about “the room”. Wannabe journalists who throw out ridiculous takes just to draw attention to themselves is an amateur approach. Lego, why quote from these sources? You’re better than that. Except for the visual portion of your videos which should be scrapped.
The wings have exceeded expectations for this year. Wtf! They have had a great season and suddenly its not good enough. So stupid. Stevie Y is trying to rebuild this team in the world’s most competitive league. Please save your breath to cool your porridge.
As a wings fan – I was not holding to the expectation of winning the cup this yr, nope. I was, however, expecting them to finish in either 4th or 5th place and/or making the playoffs this yr, but not making it past the first round. Not sure Lalonde is the guy that’s going to take this team to finals and win though. I don’t personally think he’s passionate about this team.
I think the hype for yzerman as the GM has skewed the expectations. I dont think he has done a bad job, but some of his drafting and definitely some of his free agents haven't been the best.
Two more seasons for Stevie to make the playoffs, one more for Lalonde. Course the oddball is of the wheels fall off next season
I haven’t heard many saying this, but I don’t mind you bringing up the subject anyway. I can’t take people who say that seriously. Neither people who think Lalonde should be fired, basically because of two losing streaks. I trust that Steve (and whoever else might be involved in making decisions about coaches) knows much more about what’s best for the team as far as coaching goes than people in the comments section etc.
I haven't actually heard anybody in real life think that Yzerman should be fired. It's a ridiculous notion to even entertain the though.
Anyone who actually believes Stevie deserves to be fired is entirely and completely out-of-touch. Same with Lalonde. Completely ridiculous.
Have they recently emptied out an asylum somewhere??? This is absolutely ridiculous!!!
