Seriously, fuck ESPN
I must admit. That was the first game I watched on ESPN+ and it was fucking horrible. No excitement. No nothing! It was so fucking bland.

Without Jake Allen that game would’ve been miserable and the devils likely would’ve never found their step. God bless that man for allowing the youngins to gather themselves!
One good thing about us sucking most of the year is we should have less national broadcasted games next year
Some thoughts:
– I think Jack is playing hurt again. It annoys me how much of a factor this is during the season. He needs to do something about in the offseason or his whole career is going to be impacted
– Luke is stepping it up at the right time. Amazing defensive effort. Much better than Nemec.
– Top line was unreal. I cant begin to say what Nico means to this team. He has stepped up so much through the years
– Losing this game if it wasnt for Jake Allen. Im ok with that given how many times it happened against us
– Holtz has good vision, but he needs to be more wary whats going on. Feeling like hes not always sure whats going on
I want someone staffed 24/7 to make sure Allen never speaks with the goalie coach

We continue to disappear when we need to be close to the net for rebound options.
We still don’t know what to do with a power play.
Inconsistent inside the game period to period.
Allen saved their asses and got some divine intervention for his effort when the team in front of him was haphazard and sloppy.
I miss Hamilton.
I was at the game last night and boy was it fun to be on the opposite end of things! There were barely any Devils fans in sight in the lower bowl.
The Devils are 23 GF & 10 GA for the 4 games I’ve been to this season
Okay the editor must have a sense of humor bc they kept just enough of the color commentator going “and the forwards were sucked off—“ before cutting away

Con: The game seemed convoluted and messy.
Pro: The goals were very deliberate. Well executed and not just luck of the draw. I enjoy this most of all while watching a game.
