Posting is awesome for Europe breakfast
Trap…..trap…..trap…..trap…..game.
My expectation hasn't changed. I expected Torts to push this team and squeeze every last drop to a bubble playoff team therefore insuring a late first round pick.
Regardless of weather or not they make the playoffs, I'm of the opinion that this season will be Torts high water mark here and it'll only regress from here.
Almost 2 days later and I'm still pissed about that OT.
I like Torts and without him this team doesn't get a sniff of being in the playoffs picture.
That being said, I found it kind of odd that after that loss Torts didn't give a press conference after that loss.
Was wondering if you asked him about why he didn't come out and let one of the other coaches take the questions.
Thought that was odd, but I do know he's done this before.
I thought he should of taken questions for putting out that line in OT.
Torts teaches taking responsibility for your actions on the ice
It was odd he didn't take his own advice in that instance
Just wondering.
I'm with you Jason. Insanely frustrating to not get the 2 points, because they were there to be had. I'm more pissed at Ersson. He's been brutal for weeks now, letting in a soft goal almost every start. I'm willing to attribute his play to being mentally and physically spent from the grind of a full NHL season, but he hasn't looked good for a long time now…
I think Ersson is a great 1B goalie much like Carter was a great 1A goalie. They each need a better goalie in tandem with them. Hopefully we can replace Hart in the near future.
