It's been like months. Why do they still ask every teammate about Kane before each game? Are they writing more Kane articles each week or something?
I'm gonna get goofy here for a second. And I can say this without backlash because I'm a bald man myself. Why can't the Wings get winning bald head coaches like Boston? Even the bald guy before Lalonde couldn't win in the NHL if his life depended on it. And it's strange, but Lalonde was part of the Tampa Stanley Cup champs I think as an assistant coach, but comes to Detroit and once again, loses like the other bald guy before him. The Bruins' head coach is pretty slicked out on top as well and he's got his team near the top of the NHL standings. Why do the Wings get stuck with the losing bald guy head coach? As I said, I'm pretty slick on top myself, so be kind. Just trying to put aside my sentiment for how the Wings have been playing the past 3 weeks, losing ground to the point that they're now not even in a wildcard spot, yet they had a slam dunk spot for the wildcard with 10 points up on the Isles just 3 weeks ago. What a shame. Better luck next season, but Stevie Y has to clean up not only the coaching staff (hopefully bring in a winner who is at least a fraction of what Scotty Bowman was as a head coach) and get rid of the high paying rentals who didn't come through for the team, making sure that they don't have the door hit them on the way out of Detroit. As a native Detroiter who moved outta the state (MI) for greener pastures in 1987, hoping the Wings get back to their winning ways from the 1990s-2000s. From the state of Florida, I say LGRW!!!!
