@Penguins de Pittsburgh

And Yinz guys do a Great job, I moved down here to Texas about 6 years ago and Yinz have been a great reminder of back Home in the Burgh

  2. Letang has 41 points and is a +9. He has adapted his game. My issue with the D is not with #58. Playing with POJ and graves? And is still a plus player? Unless they want out, they will retire as Pens.

  3. Won't mean much with a good showing for the young guys if sully don't change his plan on not playing young guys

  4. I agree with your take, fellows. I also think this is a bit of the price we pay for 3 cups and 16 consecutive playoff appearances during the Core 3 era. As fans, let's accept it, support them and try to make the best of it.

  5. There is no reason for harkins, nieto or acciari to come back into the line up. They all have injuries and the playoffs are not at stake. Play the kids and let those 3 fully heal.

  6. Let the "kids" play!!! Season is done, they are supposed to be the future for our team. See what you got before summer comes and hopefully Dubas will make the NEEDED changes?? Great show guys.

  7. Why is Letang always on the Ice when a Goal is scored against ? He has NEVER played Defense . They should have dumped him after his first Stroke . Malkin still produces but never has been given good Wingers unlike Sid .

  8. Come on guys. Geno is not Geno any longer. He's always had trouble with line mates. Always been able to make it happen himself. They errors and penalties are what are the issue now.
    The last 2 years as winger allows him to just play offense.

  9. Letang used to be elite. He is not any longer. Same with Malkin. Still talented, but not difference makers anymore.

  10. I do think that Sid was upset after the Guentzel move. I think it was obvious a few games before the deadline to a few games after the deadline..if If I'm Sid I'm signing a contract this summer IF and when they re sign Jake. For me they the Pens need Sid more than Sid needs the Pens. I'm telling DDLIBASS If you want me, your re signing my boy. From there make every effort in the off-season to dump dead weight off the roster. Whether it's Rakell, Smith, Graves, even Ek 65 of they can move him and not have to retain a serious amount of Cap..from there use the draft and trade to get better and younger

  11. As far as signing Jake..Isn't really a pipe dream that Jake signs here. I mean Dubas told him they were moving in a different direction. It would be strange to tell him that and do a 360 and basically say "nevermind we want you as part of the next several years. We just needed to get some return"

  12. I'm not sure any NHL star has ever been more unfairly maligned by (a noisy portion of) their own fans than Malkin. He'd literally be the best player in franchise history for half the league. It doesn't help that a certain Pittsburgh sports media blowhard, who shall remain nameless, have been engaged in an anti-Malkin propaganda campaign since about 2011.

    Yeah, Malkin isn't the player he was even a season ago. But 53 points in 71 games is nothing to scoff at. Any failure to compensate for the things he doesn't do well anymore is mostly on Sullivan, IMHO.

  13. I don’t know why everyone is surprised. The MOMENT they signed 71, 58 and 35, I said, “They’re going to do the exact same thing and expect different results.” And here we are the with same results.

  14. Rangers fan here…. Theres no way Sid and Malkin are washed-up. The only way they will stop producing for Pittsburgh is if they decide to move on because of a rebuild…..which I don't see happening. Don't know much about their prospects…but I'm sure they have some goodies up their sleeves. Just a little patience and Pittsburgh will be a contender again. That being said…..Let's Go Rangers!!!!

  15. It has always been that they haven't done anything with the 3 or 4th line since the HBK days. They've had nothing there and it has killed them. That is on the GMs…
