My favorite game of the year so far. Wasnt pretty but i felt like they played as if they thought it was an important game, as it was. Most importantly they competed and finished checks and played with purpose
How did Sweeney miss on Duclair, guy was picked up for a 3rd and a prospect.
Instead he picks up a 35 year old guy recovering from spinal surgery.
Florida game is one win against a top 3 team. This team over the last 60 games
has won 3-4 games more than they have lost. They won't win more than a round and are 5050 with Leads and weaker than TB.
Hopefully both Swayman and Ullmark play well and you can get a top 6 center or top 4D for especially Swayman. I would do Pinto and two 2nd rounders for Swayman.
Lindholm was humiiated because he failed to drop his gloves which was pathetic. He is 3-4 inches taller than Bennett and wouldn't drop the gloves, so Sedinesque.
Why are Jaffee and Reycroft surprised wall play lead to goals. Almost half a hockey game takes place on the boards so you better be good on the boards.
Coyle and Marchand are an enormous concern. No one questions or should question their effort.
However, Coyle and Marchand have come out of the All Star break like they came back from literally an off season and have lost some ability as older players.
They need to go after Stevenson in FA and Pinto in a trade for Swayman.
