They’re just meh. Curious to see what happens in the off season. Can’t roll it back again

  2. Academic-Brush-7797

Lou needs to be fired the second this season ends. Nelson needs to be moved in the offseason under new GM to start much-needed retool.

Yet another game of the islanders dont know how to fucking score.

This shit did happen during the trotz years too but at least we werent absolutely brain dead defensively

  4. optional-email

    It coulda been worse.

    * Varlamov looked great.

    * After the 1st period, they did a pretty decent job checking Tampa’s top line, that generates like 70% of their scoring. Kept’em on a tight leash.

    * Team didn’t show up and play like they’d rather be golfing, that’s a great first step

On to the next one. Not ready to give up hope.

  5. Brilliant-Chapter202

Not even Varly could save the Isles from themselves.

  6. Brilliant-Chapter202

Varly was NOT the reason we lost that game.

WTF. The game was blacked out on ESPN+
It’s the first blackout I’ve encountered.. Anyone else get blacked out ?

  8. Varly stood on his head tonight. Idk whats up with our goal scorers lately but they just are not scoring goals. The D should be kissing varlys feet it wasn’t 6-1 or worse. I love this team but this one stung.

Wild that if we can beat Philly Monday we’re in a good spot.

*cue responses that we’re not a playoff team fire lou trade everyone etc etc etc*

  10. ArchieInABunker

Bridgeport won tonight, we stay winning

  11. Imaginary_Evening420

Varly is the only reason this wasn’t 7 or 8-1. Also, what the fuck were those line combinations?? Why does Roy switch everything up after beating one of the best teams in the league?

  12. Mrenato83

Varly was great, everything else was fucking horrible. At least I won’t have to watch them get swept by the rags in the first round

  13. I feel somehow more optimistic about WC2 then when this day started …they are getting in if they ride a hot Varly and then who knows

  14. tedsmarmalademporium

Roy can not be running these lines back next week. A real chance to make some way w names out of a hat line up. Can we put barzal and Bo back together for the love of god
