The team is just lifeless right now. I'm not saying they went into the last few games assuming they would win, but it sure feels like it. The most obnoxious thing is all the missed shots on goal. It's been an issue all year but it's been especially terrible lately.
This was a very sad game.

The defense was horrendous
Gotta play 60 minutes, not 20. We were always looking past this year anyway, we were never gonna get very far even if we did make the playfoffs. Still have some more pieces to put in place on this team, but they exceeded everybody's expectations this year.

This next game is a huge game. Don’t show up on Monday against the islanders playoff hopes are toast. Not gonna bring confidence to keep losing. Gotta break this cycle and get back to it
The Flyers are about to be eliminated from their wild card dreams. This team is completely flat, and has been so since the trade deadline. Losing Walker hurt the defence, and Ersson is gassed. Senior players like Couturier and Atkinson provide nothing to this team, and when the veteran players are supposed to lead the younger players and they do nothing, there is no drive being shown.

It will be a nice surprise if they actually get in the playoffs, but they are still miles ahead of projections for this season, and even the next two. They’re rebuilding, it takes time, and it’s way ahead of schedule.
