Really thought this jets team was different. I hope they have a good playoff run, but I no longer see it happening. This is more disappointing than last season
Bones yelling in the 2nd period… and then another couple missed open nets. Kinda goes hand in hand. These guys are way better than they're playing, but they clam up and lose focus when leadership blows it's top. There's nothing wrong with getting worked up, but you need to keep focus otherwise you're signaling that it's over and you don't know what to do, or you've lost faith. You gotta ride the horses who are running rather than trying to whip the ones who aren't. Difference between leading by example as a winner, or finding blame like a loser.
I'm OK with this nonsense. Stay healthy is priority #1. If we lose out next week to NAS, DAL and COL.. consider it the Jets Central Fairwell Tour. I think that actually is a safer route, especially if it basically won't affect our home ice advantage in the conference final against Vegas, as they KO the Avs and Stars for us.

I know that I previously mentioned potentially gutting our team from the ground up this offseason and bringing in maybe someone like Eric Tulsky as GM and Ryan Warsofsky as HC or Mike Velluci as HC and Mike Sullivan as GM and get rid of Chevy and Bows, but I honestly don't think that would make a difference anyways. We sucked under Paul Maurice and look at him now with the Panthers. We can get Al Murray and Jon Cooper from the Tampa Bay Lightning and still choke and suck when it matters the most. We're the Cleveland Browns of the NHL lol. Fun fact: I'm a fan of both the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers hahahahaha. At this point, I'm just gonna wait and see what happens in the playoffs. Who knows, maybe we might surprise people.

We have not looked like ourselves for a while and that is exactly why I won’t give up is because we are an elite team when we are going. It’s not over until we are out of the playoffs. Really been happy with Stanley the last while so that’s nice. GJG
Agreed, it’s like the coaching staff don’t know who their best players are. Samberg is easily our second best defensemen and he’s being scratched. Miller has only played 2 games and he looked good. Pionk is garbage. Ehlers has a consistent good showing and he’s even better on the top line. This team is complete horse shit and an utter disappointment, disgrace, disaster, and. It starts with the coaching staff. How can you give that kind of effort for Hellebucks 500 th game and lose against a garbage team. I don’t know but I’m not even watching anymore.
