@Flames de Calgary

1. The Kings are not cut out to win in the playoffs, simple as that. The Flames did work hard but I feel this says a lot more about Los Angeles than it does about Calgary. Plus this is after we smoked them the previous game

  2. Calgary can always bring it!
    Being an Edmonton fan and being at countless Battle of Alberta’s its something I’m grateful for forever

  3. I've always liked Weeger. He was the "throw in" in the trade but still good at the time but I thought he's going to be an important piece

  4. The Calgary Flames… the Perfect Example of Failing Upwards, then wasting their Draft Picks. Again and Again The Culture of the Team is Toxic, Why do you think "Johnny Hockey" Ran as Fast as he Could and took Less Money!!!!. Its a Never Ending Story!!! The Flames Ownership don't Deserve to Have a team. The Owner ship is Getting 375 Million tax payers Money to build a New Arena… yet they wont build a team that Deserves IT!!!

  5. Love your videos Johnny and I especially love the flames ones because you always have great takes on the team!!

  6. I wanna see Iginla on this team more than I would like to see them win. You know the crowd would sell it everytime he's on the ice. Nothing would make me happier as a flames fan.

  7. Edmonton fan here. Weegar was a great pick up for the Flames and hopefully a big piece of your veteran core moving forward. On an Oilers note, and for the Nurse haters, Nurse had 16 goals in 56 games in a contract year before he hit UFA. Just imagine if Weegar didn’t just sign and what he would be asking for. Nurse also led his team in hits, blocks and minutes and also took less cap/team friendly deals prior to his big payout. Back to Weegar, Flames could sell high here

  8. Hmm I remember last year when Flames fans were bashing both Weegar and Huberdeau, funny how they are acting now towards Weegar

  9. 20 for a dman is more like 55 for a forward. You have to compare how often they happen. There are always plenty of 40 goal fwds. Hardly ever 20 goal d men these days.

  10. I think Treliving’s intentions when getting Weegar was that he would be the cornerstone of the flames’ defence going forward (no disrespect to Andersson, but I’m wondering if he’ll even want to stay in Calgary when his contract is up)

    Great stuff to see, especially on a team that’s so fucking mid year in and year out

  11. Good call on the Captaincy, there are some bright spots in this season and the decision to dump players who wouldn't sign and get some picks is a good strategy to not have to do a full rebuild.

  12. Yeah…but…it's the same as back in the day with Kris Russel – he's blocking all these shots because the opposing team has puck possession A LOT when he's on the ice. Not always a great stat to have =/

  13. Now we should talk about huby because he was horrible last year but now he’s getting better and what do we need to make a playoff spot? A superstar? Better goaltending? Defense? Offense?

  14. Based on how Weegar and Huberdeau have played since the trade, you would think that Weegar was the main piece going back to Calgary.

  15. Seeing another Iginla wearing the flames jersey would be like seeing Doan in Arizona. Just good vibes
