Nazars assist the other day was downright nasty.
Thanks to Michigan advancing, if Nazar signs he’ll likely get a maximum of 3 NHL games since I highly doubt they’ll rush him into a game on the 12th if Michigan loses on the 11th. If they go to the final on the 13th, Hawks play the 14th, 16th, and 18th to close the season in which case he’d likely only play the 16th and 18th
I have a feeling Nazar is going to stay in Michigan for the rest of this year. No need to senselessly burn a year of his ELC to have him play in like 3 games. Have him come in training camp next year and then can really see him blossom. As for Greene, I think he already signed an ELC as well so same outcome, but I believe he will be in Rockford, with some call ups next year.
I don’t think I’ve seen Aidan Thompson mentioned much in prospect rankings. Looks like he’d be an AHL guy next year and then adjust expectations based on performance. Sounds similar to Sluggart where he’s a bottom 6 ceiling at best.
