The Hurricanes play an aggressive game. They pressure hard and give little time to make plays, especially on the PK. We have much to learn from them we are way too passive on the PK and we don’t pressure the opponent enough.
I get that’s it’s a difficult thing to do. Especially if you are tired, stuck in your zone and you are not a good skater. But watching Carolina do this so consistently makes me believe they will win the cup.
Off-season signings of Teravainan and Pesce here we come!
Perhaps the goal to sign the best players to contracts that top out around 8 million [like carolina] and not 15 million [like the leafs] is a smarter way to build a team
