Some players are really phoning it in recently. It has has has to be coaching. We see over and over players stink here and excel elsewhere – what else can be blamed for this
It's SUPER unlikely, especially considering the road winless streak you've discussed. But, if the Penguins wanna make playoffs they have to go 6-3 in the remaining games:
It makes it sound even more grim when you say it like this: in order to make playoffs, the Penguins can't lose any games against NJD, WSH, TBL, DET, NSH and NYI, unless we somehow upset NYR, TOR and/or BOS.
That is assuming PHI only win 2 of their remaining games (which seems very possible considering their remaining games), if PHI win 3 games we have to go 7-2, if they win 4 we have to go 8-1 and if they win 5 more games we have to go 9-0.

They have the worst net-front presence in the league on both sides, 2nd or 3rd worst offensive zone entries, 3rd worst pp. All those things are generally assistant coach jobs. New blood is needed behind the bench. The heart is on the players themselves you're an adult you gotta show up and do your job.
A positive streak I'd like to see continue is the doc goal streak. 3 goals in 3 games. Hopefully, sid sets him up for another one tonight( this way crosby keeps collecting points to finish another season at 1 point per game).

Sully is a BIG reason why the pens are falling. His stubbornness is so insane it's unbelievable.
Sometimes you need historic losses to get changes on couches.
All year I have said they were far too soft like melted butter and nobody did anything about it !Crossing the Pens blue line was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen in sports ! Clear the front of your net or take up ping pong ! No pride at all disgusting and the coaches and management must be blind !
With Dufus in charge you guys will get use to nothing but crap from your team . Just look at Leaf history nothing but crap year after year
I don't have anything against the Pens coaching staff, but I think it would be a good idea to make a total coaching change in the off-season. It would give the team a fresh start for next year and they also need to get younger too!
