I think Copp, Fischer and Rasmussen was a flash in the pan. They aren’t skilled players, there’s no reason to think they can shut down top players. They’re getting stuck in the defensive zone quite often.
I wonder if Veleno had his ice time cut down because he’s so unimpressive lately. He really just doesn’t do much of anything right now. Honestly, I think that’s part of the reason they’ve kept Czarnik up here. He just isn’t a good enough center.
