@Canadiens de Montréal

1. Haha definition of being a leaf fan ur team beats one of the best teams and ur still in the hot seat the Avs lose columbus 4-1 Oilers lose to blues but always about how the leafs "ALMOST lost 6-4 to one of the best teams…. unreal😂

  2. I also hear non stop how Florida beat the leafs last year 4-1 in second round but which they did they deserved to make it as far as they did but they also swept the canes and nobody every speaks of it

  3. If hockey games were 40 minutes long, the Leafs would have a lot more wins 😂. The leafs are the best team at forgetting how to hockey in the 3rd period🤦🏼‍♂️

  4. As a Leaf fan, I like this kind of win. I think a 5-1 win is always nice but this game was a good reminder that you can let good teams like this crawl back. Take a W with a lot of moments to learn from and be better next time.

  5. The Leafs did that with Ilya Samsonov in net, got Bobrovsky yanked out of his net for Stolarz, and they did it without Marner, Rielly, Jarnkrok, Liljegren, Edmundsson or Klingberg. It was a good win for them.

  6. Everyones looking into this way too much. Its just 2 good teams battling it out. Leafs winning 2 periods panthers winning 1. Good teams push hard when theyre down and good teams hold on when theyre up and thats exactly what you saw yesterday.

  7. Leafs are still soft as baby shit.. Look at teams that make deep runs in the playoffs. Its because their best players buy into a specific system and dont take their foot off the gas when pressured. They have to be the most consistent team when it comes to giving up in the 3rd period or after 3-4 games in the playoffs. You literally have like 6 guys that wont finish their checks or even be physical at all, and those are the guys getting the most ice time, getting roughed up non stop with no pushback… EVER…. Guys like Domi and Bertuzzi will definitely make a difference, but again, those top guys need to grow a set and toughen up!!

  8. After everything you said, sure, but they won. The tenth placed team in the league beat the 7th placed team. Nail biter or not. Did anyone expect Toronto to be up 5 to 1 against the Panthers after 2 periods? Nope. Enjoy the fdang hockey and stop with the hand wringing – its a tired angle to take. So many great teams and match ups this playoffs – I'm looking forward to all the chaos.

  9. funniest part about this man is it’s not a 7 game series until it is lol. There is no team toronto will be matched up with in the first round where they will be favorites. They are straight up not good enough to beat any team in a 7 game series lmao

  10. Leafs are complete fraud it's not even funny. The problem is mentality and professionalism, and they are just poor at best. Talent itself been carrying them, but what they lack to be a great team is heart and professionalism.

  11. NO, you're not over-criticising.
If they play like that in the playoffs it's a first round exit.

  12. I mean, I get the leafs criticism, fair, but why not criticize a Stanley cup favourite that was more or less punked for the first two periods and had no answer for what the leafs were bringing?
Those long ones that went in were on Sammie, not so much the team around him, imo.

  13. Leafs videos generate the most views, likes and comments. You need a provocative angle so this one plays up the third period Panthers push as a Leaf flaw. Maybe it is. We will see in the playoffs.

  14. At this point in the season, wins and losses are irrelevant. It doesn't matter if they finish second, third, or drop down to the first wild card. The smaller details are what really matter. Penalty kill looked fantastic tonight, they were really aggressive and didn't give Florida much time to set up. Conversely, their own powerplay continues to look bad. Sammy looked good again. Got depth scoring again, something that's been really noticeable the past few weeks.

Definitely a little sloppy in the third, but not as sloppy as Florida was in the first and second. Looked like they sat back waiting for Florida to push back, rather than continuing to carry the play like they through the first two. Liked the physical play. Reaves was the standout obviously, but Knies standing up for Holmberg was good to see.

  15. Let’s criticize the leafs for a single bad period but still held on over talking about the panthers having 2 terrible defensive periods and are supposed to be shoe ins for the finals. Gotta go with the algorithms.

  16. You can say the leafs almost choked but Florida played like ass for two period and you focused on the leafs flubbing a few goals against an absolute unit of a team while also being extremely handicapped without Morgan and Mitch? I call it a success they played 40 minutes and got a little lazy in the third

  17. Nah overly critical on the leafs…panthers beat the leafs once in the playoffs and people acting like they own the leafs…where’s the panthers better hope bobrovsky lives up to his vezina level goaltending cause the leafs actually dominated the play last year…bobrovsky just keep playing like an alien and last night the leafs made him look human…and wheres the tkachuk criticism? Lol if you havent noticed he’s always invicible against the leafs going back to his flames days…just ask his daddy jake muzzin…and some key players? Half the leafs team is injured or missing last night…that was a sloppy game for sure but keefe looked like he was trying new things to see how they would work…thats why we saw robertson, knies and reaves defending leads late in the game…

  18. Such a brain dead take with a retared accent making it sound even worse😂.

Every team is allowing goals in the third when they have a big lead this season. Leafs have many comebacks including a 5 goal comeback in thr third.

Bruins have blown many many many leads for example

  19. I'm confident that come playoffs, Florida won't be taking anything for granted and will be looking to end the series quickly. Their 3rd period play will be on display from the drop of the puck.
