I've lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money… Or ratings in not sure which. I won't be silent . Just saw it live sry
Total bs Hyman the puck was on his pad.
Canucks fan here. Was listening to it on the radio. St louis broadcaster thought it would be no goal for st.louis . Cause it was same exact play from edmonton
dunno if you’re gonna read this, but i really like the punchy all caps first few words in the title
6 hours later and I’m still hot under the collar at the officiating. That really sucked, I don’t even know what “goaltender interference” even is anymore. At least we got a point, it wasn’t all bad. Oh well, on to Dallas
Only Ekholm had a good game, Draisaitl scored 1 goal but too many bad passes and too many penalties and lost most of the faceoffs, Hyman was "ok", McDavid (-1) was just average and made 1 good pass, Bouchard played poorly on the blue line. Kane's 5+2 penalty broke the Oilers' game. Most of the Oiler team are mediocre players who score on big holidays. 😝 McLeod just another mediocre player to blame for OT loss🤪
This Oilers game is not the game expected from Cup contenders.😇
theyre fuelling kanes villain arc
Think the reffing is bad now? Just wait until we play Vegas in the playoffs….
I stayed passed my work bedtime to watch us lose ouch. Refs in that building always favour blues. Every time we come in. Nuge goal should have counted, Bennington pads only moved open after Hyman was far away
Good calls on both. Binnington had contact that pushed him more to the post and he cant recover in literally 1 second. Skinner just felt a tap on the pad but there was nothing that prevented him from making a save
Until the Oil don't default to McD and Drai when they need a goal, they'll never win.
St louis guy here so I know Im gonna get roasted here. I feel bad about this one because, after you showed that stick flex, yeah, it was interference. I wonder if the refs had that angle.
I think the call against the Oilers on the first one had more to do with Hyman pulling Binnington's stick away as he skated past the net. I've noticed the more often call back goals where they interfere with the goalies stick than pads.
I do think if the Oilers hadnt challenged they would have won the game as they were the much better team. The Blues only asset, aside from Binnington, is their powerplay. The Oilers were the much better team, and after St Louis lost to SJ, I know they wont make the playoffs.
I find the conspiracy guys on here pretty funny. Maybe for NYR or Chicago, but the nhl doesnt give a rat's arse about a small market like stL. They'd much rather have Vegas or LA in the wildcard slots.
Oilers, at least youre in the playoffs, unlike the blues. Missing the playoffs barely is the worst of everything: no cup chance, no high draft pick, no playoff gates.
I wish the Oilers well. I hope you cream Dallas. I hope you win the cup for McDavid' s sake.
I did not think Kane's goal was above the crossbar, Nugent-Hopkins goal wasn't goaltender interference, if that was interference then so was the St. Louis goal. Oh well, they need to be able to overcome that kind of adversity as it will happen in the playoffs as well.
Draisaitl needs to get his shit together
I was ok with the call until I seen the bend in the sticks…i know a little contact can interrupt what you're trying to do but you got to fight through it.
This is a pitchfork and should have been disallowed
I still have ptsd from the Anaheim series as well. I no longer trust the nhl
The biggest problem with NHL controversies is the league never explains their rulings and they never apologize something other pro sports leagues do.
with the goalie interference calls it could have easily gone the other way…Hyman was not contacting the goalie (not even in the paint) when the rebound came to Nuge and the goalie opened up his legs and let the goal go in…was he restricted in the paint? no, not at all….call on the ice was good…call should have stayed "good goal"…the Blues version had the player with his stick right into Skinner with that big bend = force…his stick was in the crease and would have impacted Stu's ability to make the stop…that is the definition of interference, but the room okayed that one…
It was a classic home team referring. Pity.
Still, we got a point out of this mess. Refocus and get Dallas tomorrow.
The refs like always decide who's going to win with most teams, all these refs today suck.
That was a beautiful performance by the Refs. They really took it to us!
Skinners a whiny dink.
😂😂😂 they weren't looking at the tablets about the call, they were watching la and winnipeg. Lol
Oilers played un inspired hockey
Listen Man…the NHL has a responsibility to respect support and foster growth within where every Franchise is on their Seasonal Evolutionary scale, wether we like it or not and even though there are no numbers that can be transposed over the reality . The Blues earned the 2 points.
