C’est vraiment un exploit étonnant qui montre la domination de Crosby depuis son entrée dans la ligue jusqu’à ce jour à l’âge de 36 ans. Bien que les Penguins aient connu l’une de leurs pires saisons sous l’ère Crosby avec plus de 90 % de chances qu’ils ratent les séries éliminatoires pour la deuxième année consécutive. , ce n’est certainement pas la faute de leur capitaine Sidney Crosby. Avant le match de ce soir contre les Rangers, il avait 10 points lors de ses 4 derniers matchs et s’est retrouvé à seulement 3 points d’enregistrer un autre point par match pour la 19e fois de sa carrière. C’est un match au cours duquel Jonathan Quick a été célébré pour être devenu le gardien de but américain le plus gagnant de l’histoire de la LNH, avec 392 points, lorsqu’il a reçu son bâton de gardien d’argent. Igor Shesterkin s’est un peu échauffé avec Crosby alors que les deux s’y mettaient un peu et nous avons certainement vu une certaine fougue après que Rakell ait réussi un coup sûr discutable. Nous avons eu un EBUG dans le bâtiment, les Rangers ont vu un but controversé rappelé et bien sûr, Sidney Crosby est entré dans l’histoire de la LNH. I was at the Olympics in Vancouver and we literally screamed all the way home for hours–Crosby will always be a great Canadian hockey hero-with or without the Pens.
Gretzky had 14 consecutive seasons averaging over a point per game. Sid has now hit 19. Gretzky’s streak ended when he only got 48 in 48 in his 15th year (17th with the WHA). He has now tied the consecutive seasons with a PPG or more record of 19 seasons held by Gretzky.

Congrats to Sid, still putting up those numbers after all these years. It'll be nice to see him hit 20 in a row next season if someone like Kreider doesn't "accidentally" injure him.
Kreider is such a piece of shit. He's single-handedly responsible for more goalie concussions than anyone else in the show and plays like a petulant bitch. Not surprising to see him throw another temper tantrum when it became obvious the Rangers were going to lose.

After last night's game in NJ, I heard something about him being the only player in NHL history with more than a point per game in 19 seasons.
The reason I saw was Gretzky had 1 season where he had 48 points in 48 games, thus giving Crosby sole ownership of that record. Does anyone know if that is true?

For me the video is just too long to find out what Crosby tied Gretzky in although I did watch the game last night in which he scored and they came back and beat the devil's with like five unanswered goals.
