Le défenseur révolutionnaire a remporté la Coupe Stanley à deux reprises à Boston, a remporté le trophée Norris à huit reprises et a marqué un but mémorable en tombant lors du septième match.
4 Bobby orr it was for the love of the game,he was not out their worrying about,if he was going to make the mortgage, he was trying to figure out how his tea could connect as one so they would be unstoppable as a team.
The economy was half good when hockey players in that ERA were out there taking what ever they could,t0 the sport they loved,it was not their job it was more like their calling they were trying to improve .
Thank you for posting. .It still doesn't do justice. What Bobby did for the city of Boston is immeasurable..Plus he also opened your eyes as a hockey fan how great the other players on other teams were ..Hull, Beliveau, Conryuer Perreault, Savard Parise Clark Howe. He opened up the game of hockey and opened the game to.the hockey fans . Nobody better no one even close.. #4 Is #1 4 ever.
The night the Bruins retired ORielys number #4 was part of the B's alumni to be there to honor one of the tough'est guy's to ever play the game When Bobby Orr came out on to the ice the garden erupted it was awsome!!!!
The GOAT. I'm sorry but Gretzky couldn't do jack on D so yeah. You can say Gretz had the best career, 20 seasons, but Orr was the greatest hockey player in history.
What people don't understand is that all this was done before a defenseman hits their prime…around 27 years old. By the time he was 27, he was done @1976…only played Canada Cup and 24 games for chicago. Amazing
The only player to play with both Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky said it best…"Wayne was protected and Bobby was a target"…They played in completely.different eras and Wayne benefitted from the pain and lost carreer Bobby experienced.
NHL isn't the same today. Rule changes, helmets, shoot outs. When Orr played the players risked their lives to do it. I loved the life or death intensity. Today it's like the minor leagues.

In the 70's we'd get 10 channels on our non cable TV. Watching Bobby Orr play was amazing. The whole family would sit and watch Bobby and the Bruins.
Bobby Orr's the G.O.A.T.🇨🇦🏒

Class
1, 2, 3, 4, Bobby fuckin’ Orr
For such a magnificent talent hes always been so humble.
At 3:51 that's Ace Bailey walking in behind Orr. He died on one of the planes that hit the Twin Towers on 9/11.
BOBBY ORR is the GOAT ! NO QUESTION about it. CLASS with a capital C .
The BEST there is, the BEST there was. The BEST there ever will be !
The Best
Happiness is Orr.
Bobby Orr was a class act the best at what he did and a great role model for many young kids and NHLers today
My son wears his bobby orr jersey every practice
Will Makar ever break his record in his career like Oveckin for Gretzky’s?
The night the Bruins retired ORielys number #4 was part of the B's alumni to be there to honor one of the tough'est guy's to ever play the game When Bobby Orr came out on to the ice the garden erupted it was awsome!!!!
A lot of the passes were not good but he still settles it down

Most modest player & most skilled player ever…imagine if he had the protection Gretzky had…
He was and is the greatest!
You have 10 year old kids today who skate so much better than these guys did back then.
like Lemieux with his back, imagine bobby never having problems with his knees
Bobby Freakin ORR dude, such a talented man !!
Robert Gordon Orr is the greatest hockey player who ever lived and who ever will live.
Greatest hockey player to ever lace up a pair of skates!!
Standing in front of the Christmas tree for a picture. I was Keith Magnuson and my Brother was Bobby Orr.
Even with today’s standards he is still unmeasurable, just amazing and an absolute great guy
He was very humble
Worth his weight in class
Dude was a +124 in his age 22 season. It's hard to even imagine.
He'll always be number one all time, in my book.
Doug Harvey of the Canadiens did the revolutionizing. Orr came along with his style.
The greatest defenseman who has ever played the game, in my opinion. He's probably a very good attorney to!
No one will ever be like Bobby…
Bobby saying he was a decent skater….yeah Bobby you sure were a decent skater. Modest man and the best to ever play.
To this day, he remains the best defenseman to have ever played the game.
Orr made it look so easy! True professional & gentleman.
If he was protected like gretzky , his numbers would be higher
For a defenseman to win the scoring title twice is unheard of.
