Another embarrassing episode of NHL non-hockey spectacle. It has become a running joke. It has become a venue where people, a very small number thank goodness, spend their discretionary entertainment money to watch a train wreck. I suppose it's like the stock car circuit which also attracts a very distinct but small following, mostly very boring watching cars that look alike go around in circles, waiting for the car crashes to titillate.

Rempe is getting better at fighting. Now that he can stand up in a fight he needs to throw combinations and realize when something is working to keep on doing it. He was tagging McDermid with the paddle-board lefts he should have just kept on throwing them. But he went for the big rights and he wasted all of his energy. That gave McDermid the decision for the match.

its really a statement about how boring the game has become
every team is playing the same system,even on the powerplay
players are told not to take chances or to be creative just play your position
even with the new rules that are idiotic,promotimg offense and are poorly enforced, the game is still boring although goals are up
