Maybe the guys in the « What if Gambo is right? » thread can come in off the ledge now.

Before I get my hopes up… what the fuck is going on here? Did we get the land or what?

So suddenly, a weight has been lifted.

Pretty sure this is just an animated version of the mock ups we already saw right?
Don’t see anything new here.

Gambo one of the dumbest people ever posting his yotes are shopping the team to immedatly get shut down not that much later

Anybody know if the auction will be open to the public? I’d love to go and rep the yotes!

Just wanted to double check – the June 27th auction date means we’ll know on June 27th if the Coyotes won the auction correct?
IPYF
Sorry to double comment, but the good and bad news (per Morgan’s report – for which there is currently no other thread) is that this is legitimately ‘it’ for the Coyotes in Arizona; or at least per my reading.
If Meruelo loses the auction we are relocating. Xavier would not have used that word without league backing or a plan for that. There is no talk about another in-state owner plausibly being inserted into the mix, and there are no backup land plans.
If that auction is lost, that’s it, and we will have lost our team. On the one hand it is scary, but on the other – it’s definitive.

I really can’t get excited until shovels are in the ground and construction has begun. Even then I might not believe it.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HANDS!?

This is an obvious PR move. Between Seravalli’s bogus claim and the article about Meruelo selling the team circulating today they wanted to get a new narrative out there so everything isn’t so doom and gloom.
These images are nothing new, we saw these weeks ago. Unfortunately nothing is official until shovels hit the ground. Not trying to be negative here just being realistic. I’d be just as happy as all of you if this is to be true, I’m just slightly skeptical given the timing.
That being said, Meruelo has supposedly deep pockets, and I’m sure they could secure this thing and get the ball rolling.
Here’s to hopefully years of hockey in AZ.

My conspiracy theory. This was uploaded to the land department website at 7:09 pm which means a government employee was working late, which never happens.
Somebody used Gambo whether he was in on it or not. I think the pressure and speculation got the land department to actually act out of fear and finally get moving.

Let’s go Coyotes!

I’ll be happy when they don’t get outbid keeping my hopes low believe it when I see it, but I like the optimism their trying to portray.

So if they win the bid on the land…what happens after that? Don’t they need to come up with funding?
