Sandin is an NHL regular. We don’t know what Cowan will be. Cowan is lighting up the minor leagues but it is the minor leagues. Let’s hold our horses until we see what he looks like in the NHL.

Two takeaways when I watch the caps this year
1) Jon Carlson is still fuckin sick and honestly might be playing the best hockey of his career, yet in a completely different way than a decade ago
2) i am fine with not having sandin. He’s JAG. Lilly is bigger, at least as good and probably better, and right handed.
