When Marchand, the best all around player in the league, and Pastrnak, the best pure goal scorer in the league, get going the Bruins are tough to beat. Their leaky defense and poor special teams will cost them in the playoffs though.

Carolina is going to go nowhere without more than the first line going. Svechnikov is one of the most frustrating players I’ve ever seen. All the skill in the world, and it’s like he wants to be known for anything but scoring. Problem is he is not remotely a good defensive player , he’s not good at timing hits, he’s not a fighter…just shoot the damn puck and find places to shoot the puck.
I feel like Pasta teaching his teammates at a breakaway scoring minicamp one weekend would be highly rewarding.
