  1. At about the 9 minute mark of the third period, the Kings' passing looked awesome. I wish they could do that against playoff teams? Of course, if they make that many passes without scoring against Edmonton, it feels inevitable the Oilers will get a breakaway-possibly from McDavid-and score a shorty! It's frustrating. There is a ton of parity throughout the league. So, by this time, a building confidence, clean/sharp passing and all five guys swarming the net-when they feel they can-is essential to getting one past any team. I mean, even MacKenzie Blackwood looked pretty good in this game. So, as things tighten up, so long as goaltenders can see the first shot, the "d" should be there to clear away rebounds. If this happens, maybe even the Kings have a chance…well, except against Dallas. Note: did anyone else see the highlights in Winnipeg…with Gabe Villardi scoring a hat trick? p.s. thanks to the Kings for providing highlights for the game.
