I love the Canucks… I have no love for EP. Wish they traded him. Not a game changer and never going to bring the Cup to Vancouver.

The "Can't beat playoff teams" narrative is completely earned and completely accurate.
Against western playoff teams other than Edmonton and Nashville they have an 4-8-2 record.
They did do well against Edmonton and Nashville but it was much earlier in the season when both teams were struggling.
They have also been embarrassed all 3 games against Colorado, 2 of the games against vegas, and against the Jets and LA.
The Canucks are terrible vs good opponents. Pettersson is atrocious. In those 14 games he has 2-3-5. That's a 12 goal 29 point pace.
But Drance will keep pushing his nonsense about how they are actually doing well against playoff teams and Pettersson isn't going to be the worst contract in the league.
No powerplay…no going deep in playoffs. Simple.
Drance is right when he says there is no reason to be concerned about Pettersson.
Petterson is thrown around with no star players all season and has around 80points. Who else can accive that? Quit the yap
To what I see this teamis a good reg. season team but NOT a playoff team. At best they will be 5 and out come the playoffs. To what I see they are 4 to 5 players away from being a playoff team. I do have to say I wish they traded Petey cause he can't play through playoff type checking.

"I don't get it". Really? You're that dumb? You don't get why a guy is being criticized for disappearing for 2 months, for putting up putrid stats vs playoff teams, and you don't get why this criticism has ramped up after he signed a massive deal?
Lol, ask the fans whose the MVP of the season is and very few will answer EP40. That's a fact.
This fanbase is so fragile that they've already begun pre-panicking for the playoffs. How about we actually see which players step up and which disappear instead of just guessing/assuming and then criticizing based on that guess? It's insane. We can be better than this.
The absolute excuse machine for Petey that is Canuck media makes me sick. Their criticism hits as hard as a napkin slap. He’s supposed to be in a tier with the best in the league but apparently looking harmless, slow and weak means you escape all but the weakest criticism from the media.
