This team is starting to look like a team that will get eliminated in the first round. Sorry Georgie, you're cooked, every game, I mean EVERY GAME you give up at least 3 and most of the time more. I need to see SOMETHING from this team against Dallas, Winnipeg, Vegas and the Oilers again before the playoffs, they just seem like they don't care. This all started with that piss poor performance against Montreal and has just festered since then.
fresh goalie needed to keep them in the game & make up for tired legs, but makes some big gaffes instead. Not good enough!
Edmonton fan here, this is a great show! The Avs were tired and i really respect their no quit attitude right till the end. MacKinnon is a beast, he can single handedly will the team to win. Last time the 2 teams met they were both fresh and the Avs won. Honestly burn the tape, Avs are going to be scary in the playoffs.
It was a schedule defeat they was tired the did not play their best after a back to back game still think their as good as the team that won the cup
Honestly, I’m kind of worried about Georgie. It seems like he just can’t catch a break. His confidence doesn’t seem to be there. I hope he’s doing alright mentally and that someone checks in with him.
The team shows up for the playoffs. They didn’t show up tonight. Also back to backs should be for both teams on the ice. Like a rule…G should have pulled himself after the 3rd if he was honest, 4th for sure…
And comms are critical. It deescalates. Understanding the perspectives of all involved would be great.
This kind of scheduling shouldn't be allowed… it's set up for injuries.
okay 3:45 Eric says "you gotta be angry a bit, you gotta be mad a little bit" regarding the Ekholm hit on Rantanen, and I agree, but the one guy that was angry and tried to stand up for him got a penalty so how does that set the tone for the game? Jack Johnson barely pushes Ekholm and he's in the penalty box. Refs were so charmin soft on that one and it set the tone for the game. Then we took a bunch of penalties off a challenge and too many men or whatever. Ekholm not throwing down is such a cowardly move too. Just an awful game to watch, going to continue watching the pod no disrespect just saying, they tried to give some passion and heart and the refs just weren't having it. Not to say that the refs are to blame for this loss either we just didn't play well enough.
