Not only does Wright look good on his own merits, but a big netfront offensive player who can dominate the slot is exactly what the Kraken need.

Shane threw my son a warmup puck today! It started with Bellemare playfully smelling into the boards in front of my son and looking at him all surprised. He then read the sign that said: “Can I Have A Puck To Take Back To The Coachella Valley?” with a background of Palm trees and mountains. Shane was a few feet down and Bellemare pointed at him and told him to come over. Shane read the sign and then he asked my son if he wanted a puck from Shane or from Bellemare. My son pointed at Shane and he threw the puck over the glass. He then did a fist bump on the glass with my boy. It was such an awesome interaction!
Moments like this make me so happy. To see the players themselves having fun. Sure the season is over and we’re not making the playoffs but to still have positive interactions with the fans is priceless. And especially with kids, who are the future of the sport.
I can’t wait to see how we improve next season!
