Right now Columbus is up 1-0 on Philly. Meanwhile, the Isles have to play the Predators today and the Rangers twice. At this rate, the Sabres might not even have to win out. They do however need to take one of the Dallas, Florida, and Tampa games. Losing those three without a point mathematically eliminates them.

Harrington is overstating their odds by suggesting they’re in the hunt.
Once you factor in the points that the other contenders will mathematically have to get against each other, they’re basically at eight points back, with ten points left on the table.
They need to win it all, and they need 5/6 teams to lose to almost everyone but each other.
