This game was all on DeSmith and DeSmith only. 3 goals on 6 shots… every time the Canucks had some momentum for a comeback he couldn't make a timely save. Over 40 shots on goal too, so it wasn't for the lack of effort. Talbot just played out of his mind.

These Canucks aren’t likely to win a 2024 playoff series barring a significant turnaround in their defensive awareness. Allowing 3 goals is bad enough but allowing SIX is IMO a recipe for disaster.

At least the Canucks will have 2 extra home games this year. Tocchet has ruined the chemisty on this team with his line up choices and play style. Having Demko back won't make a difference if they can't score.
