I'm an long time Avs fan but I"m in agreement that this was a clean hit. On the other hand, Mikko may be looking for payback next game (and I'll be first to cheer.) Good rivalry. Gotta love NHL.

Youth hockey has to wear stop sign stickers on the backs of helmets and jerseys automatic kicked out of game for checking from behind and i think 5 game suspension pro leagues need to be harsher for this stuff this hit was dirty as fuck, blind side and elbow went up last second…rantanen also a superstar so ya this is lame

The saving grace for Rantanan is the Ekholm didn't maintain full speed and drive through him. That said, as an AVS fan, it's time to cleanly from the blindside not quite drive through some of the Oilers star players.
